MD TECH
Privacy Policy
LAST UPDATED: OCTOBER 2026
THE SHORT VERSION
We collect very little on this website. If you write to us, we receive your name, email address, topic and message so we can reply. We do not run advertising or analytics trackers, we do not sell personal information, and our products have their own privacy policies.
1. Who we are and what this covers
This Privacy Policy explains how MD Tech (“MD Tech”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information on the MD Tech company website (the “site”).
It covers this site only. Our products, including Privio, are covered by their own privacy policies, which you can find on each product's website. If something here differs from a product's policy, the product's policy governs that product.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us. If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, the topic you choose and your message. If you email us at contact@mdtech.site, we receive your email address and whatever you write. This also applies to security reports, press or partnership enquiries and career introductions.
Information collected automatically. When you load the site, your browser sends technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request to the company that hosts the site, which keeps routine server logs for security and operations. The site also loads fonts from Google Fonts, so Google may receive your IP address when those fonts load.
Information stored in your browser. The site remembers your light or dark mode choice using your browser's local storage. This is not a cookie and is not sent to us.
What we do not collect. We do not run advertising, behavioral analytics or cross-site tracking on this site, and we do not ask for sensitive personal information. Please do not include sensitive details, such as financial or health information, in your messages.
3. How we use information
- To read and reply to your messages, and to route them to the right person.
- To assess partnership, press and career enquiries.
- To investigate and fix security issues you report.
- To keep the site secure, reliable and free of abuse, including spam.
- To meet legal obligations and protect our rights.
4. Our legal bases
Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on our legitimate interest in running the company and responding to people who contact us, on your consent when you choose to send us a message, and on legal obligations where they apply.
5. Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the site and handle your messages, and only as needed for that purpose. These include the form service that delivers contact form messages to us by email (currently Web3Forms), the email provider that receives them, the company that hosts the site and Google Fonts.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect people's safety or our rights, or as part of a merger, sale or reorganization of the company, in which case we will make sure the information stays protected.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
6. International transfers
Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where we can, we choose providers that protect information appropriately, and we rely on the safeguards that applicable law requires for transfers.
7. How long we keep information
We keep messages for as long as we need them to respond and to keep a reasonable record of the conversation, and then we delete them. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a short, routine period. You can ask us to delete your messages sooner at any time.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, receive a copy in a portable format and withdraw consent you previously gave. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
To use any of these rights, email contact@mdtech.site. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, and we will respond within the time that applicable law requires.
9. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational steps to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, and we ask that you avoid sending sensitive information through the site or by email.
10. Children
This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Links and products
The site links to other websites, including the Privio website. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please read their policies. Information you give while using a product is governed by that product's privacy policy.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we will make that clear on the site. Please check back occasionally.
13. Contact us
